solutions to leading organizations in the government, financial services,
telecommunications and automotive sectors. The Toronto Stock Exchange,
SBF-Bourse de Paris, the Brussels Stock Exchange, Sociedad de Bolsas in Spain,

U.S. Robotics, Reynolds+Reynolds, EDS, Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the
International Postal Corporation have all benefited from Kasten Chase
technology.
Dow Jones Telerate, a leading provider of financial information to global
capital markets, relied on Kasten Chase solutions for the secure, reliable
delivery of mission-critical electronic data to more than 40,000 customers in
40 countries around the world. Working with EDS Corporation in Washington, DC,
Kasten Chase deployed more than 10,000 network devices at the field offices of
the United States Department of Agriculture. The USDA network supports a
variety of applications — including payroll and loan processing — supporting
employees and farmers across the United States.
In 1997, the U.S. National Security Agency initiated the Remote Access Security
Program (RASP) to provide the U.S. Department of Defense’s mobile workforce
with secure remote access to Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) and Classified
(Secret) information. Kasten Chase became a principal partner with the NSA in
the RASP program, and is today the Agency’s designated vendor for all
components of RASP Data Security.
Certified by the NSA and pre-approved by the Communications Security
Establishment, the RASP portfolio is now well established in the U.S.
Government market with significant deployments throughout the U.S. Department
of Defense (DoD). RASP Data Security products are being used extensively by
U.S. forces in North America, Europe and the Pacific Rim. They have been
adopted by all branches of the U.S. Military, all unified commands, the U.S.
Transportation Security Administration, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the
Canadian Communications Security Establishment, among others.
The U.S. Customs Service deployed RASP Data Security in support of security
measures implemented for the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah.
In June 2002, RASP Data Security products were first deployed in support of the
Navy/Marine Corps Intranet program (NMCI). These products, implemented through
Raytheon Company, the lead subcontractor for the information security component
of NMCI, form part of the basic network infrastructure. Since the third quarter
of 1998, when RASP Data Security products were first available, Kasten Chase
has provided approximately 650 RASP systems to over 400 customers.
Based on the success of RASP Data Security and the Company’s experience working
with government intelligence agencies and DoD customers, Kasten Chase has
become a recognized leader in high-assurance data security.
